Alexa Leitgeb


Alexa is originally from The Poconos in Pennsylvania but has been in South Carolina since 2005. She came from the hotel industry and was a Food and Beverage Manager at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in North Charleston before beginning her career with CofC Dining Services. Alexis is very excited for her opportunity as the Catering and Concessions Operations Manager as she enjoys special and catered event! She now has the chance to use her degree in Sports Management while being challenged with learning the specifics of Concessions operations at CofC sporting events.

Claire Sussman


Claire relocated to Charleston in 2013 from Washington, DC for a 'change of pace'. She joined out staff in the Fall Semester of 2014 originally as our Supervisor and has recently transitioned to her new role as one of our Catering Manager. She has worked in hospitality for over ten years with experience in many facets from restaurants, to hotel sales, and of course, catering and events!

Lynette Driver Jude


Originally from North Carolina, Lynette received her degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University. Throughout her lifetime, she has always worked in the food and beverage industry and has developed a passion for hospitality. Prior to coming to Charleston, Lynette worked as a personal chef and owned a home in North Carolina with her husband and their rescue dogs. Her husband’s job brought them to the Lowcountry where she quickly fell in love with the city’s charm. Promoted from a Catering Supervisor, Lynette looks forward to working with clients at the College in her new role and to help curate wonderful events with seamless service.
