Meal Plans

What Meal Plans do you offer?

We offer a variety of meal plans to meet your on campus dining needs. Check out our Meal Plan page for a full list of offerings.


What type of Meal Plan is recommended?

We have a variety of meal plans to meet your needs! Depending on your class year, where you live, and how much you are on campus, our recommendations may vary.  If you still need help choosing a plan, give us a call at 843-953-5539 or email us diningservicescustomerservice@cofc.edu.

How can I purchase a Meal Plan?

You can purchase your meal plan during certain times of the year online on the MyCharleston Housing/Dining portal or by visiting us on campus at the Cougar Card office in Berry Hall.

Are Meal Plans required?

All students that are freshmen living in any campus residence hall are required to purchase a meal plan.

What are Dining Dollars?

Dining dollars are accepted as payment at all on campus restaurants. They are loaded right on your Student ID card, so there is no need to carry around cash or another card! There is no minimum balance, over draft fees, or hassles!

How do I get Dining Dollars?

A certain amount of dining dollars comes with each meal plan, but you can also add more Dining Dollars at any time. Click here https://my.cofc.edu/cp/home/displaylogin, or visit us on campus at the Cougar Card office in Berry Hall.

What if I want to change my Meal Plan?

Meal Plan change requests must be submitted to the Cougar Card Office by the 5th business day of each semester. For questions, give us a call at 843-953-5539.

How do I get into the dining locations once I have purchased my Meal Plan?

Within 24 hours, your Student ID card will be activated with your meal plan. Present your card to the cashier in the dining hall, and you are all set!

Can I carry meals over to the next semester?

No, all meals expire at the end of the semester.

Do my leftover dining dollars carry over to the next semester?

Yes, all dining dollars roll over from semester to semester until you graduate from the College.

Can I treat a friend to a meal?

You can treat a friend to a meal with the block plans or with your dining dollars.

What do I do when my Declining Dollars gets low?

You can reload your Dining Dollars at any time! Dining Dollars can be purchased by clicking here https://my.cofc.edu/cp/home/displaylogin, or by visiting us on campus at the Cougar Card office.

Where is the Meal Plan Office Located?

The Cougar Card office is where all meal plan sign ups and changes occur. The office is located across from Chick-fil-A in Berry Hall.

Why do I have to create an account in order to check out?

For you, and us, to be able to best track orders, and to be able to contact you in case of a question regarding your order we ask that you create a CampusDish account.

How do I create an account?

Click the "Login" button, and then on the login page click the "create a new account" link.

How do I find more about Nutritional Information?

Use our Comparison Box and Nutritional Calculator to get the most out of your eating decisions. Select products from the Menu section and use one of the options below to get accurate comparisons and information about your choices.
